Crime and injustice. Greed and poverty. Tribalism and hatred. The societal eruption of victim mentality. We have to be better to one another for the sake of a future for the innocent, lest the world end up devouring itself in wars of chaos and rage. I persevere in the hope that we will awaken out of this lucid nightmare and rebuild together instead of taking from and destroying each other in a zero-sum game of fear and ignorance. I hope — I pray — and I believe that the good in humanity will triumph in the end. There's just no other way through it.
